You are still required to wear a mask in healthcare premises. Please ensure you are wearing a mask before entering the surgery. This helps keep our staff and other patients safe.

We are conscious that some patients registered at Borough Green Medical Practice may be affected by current events in Afghanistan.  Borough Green is accredited by the Royal College of General Practitioners as one which specialises in the care of military veterans and their families.  All the team have been trained in the care of military veterans and their families.  If recent events have affected you and you wish to seek help, please come forward.

How to order a repeat prescription

A computerised list of all current medication is provided each time a prescription is issued at the surgery.  Should you require repeat medication please tick the items required and either leave the form in the repeat prescription box in reception, post it through the letter box (if out of surgery hours) or post it to us (enclosing a stamped addressed envelope if you wish the new prescription to be returned by post).

If you do not have a repeat form, please send in a written request stating your full name, address and the medication you wish to be repeated.

Repeat medication/prescriptions may be collected from the Practice during normal opening hours.  Please allow 72 hours before collection. Please note that weekends are not normal surgery hours and therefore prescriptions requested on a Friday will be available the following Tuesday morning.

To order a repeat prescription electronically, you can download the NHS App (free) and go through their registration process.  The NHS App will allow you access to online prescription and appointment booking service, once this service is available again.

If you are unable to register via the NHS App or you would like access to your complete medical records, then you will need to collect a form from Reception or download the online order form.  Please complete this form and then present at Reception for verification of your ID documents - one form of signed photo ID and one up-to-date address ID (dated in the last 6 months).  Ideally the ID could be your passport and driving licence, or you could use a local council invoice or contract.  You will then receive an email with your log in details if you are applying for the first time - or if you are just upgrading your access then this should be completed within 3 working days.

Can I order repeat prescriptions for my children?

Unfortunately we are unable to approve anyone under the age of 16 for online access.  To qualify for online prescription ordering patients must be 16 years or older with their own individual email address.  As an alternative you are able to email us with your child's prescription request on wkccg.bg.prescriptions@nhs.net.

We regret that repeat prescriptions cannot be ordered over the telephone as errors can be made.
