ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) - Kent Community ENT

The community ENT service for the NHS was started by Dr Unwin over 20 years ago and now has grown into a team of over 12 clinicians and 7 support staff.  The service accepts GP referrals from the West Kent CCG, Dartford and Gravesham CCG and Medway CCG.  The doctors will see all ear, nose and throat conditions with the exception of children under 2 years and patients with a suspected cancer diagnosis.

The service also works in close collaboration with the Head and Neck departments of both Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS trust and Medway NHS Foundation trust to reduce their outpatient waiting times. There is an allied aural care (ear microsuction) clinic, for all CCG patients and a service for dispensing new hearing aids for West Kent and DGS patients.  The service works closely with HI Kent, which run clinics in local areas.

The service has been well received by both local doctors and patients alike, for many years now.

It is not a self-referral service. You must have been referred to this service by your GP.
